Throwback(S) // & Food reviews

Hey, what's up guys. I've been staying at home these days because i didn't want to leave home and spend more money, when i'm already so broke. So amidst all the 'catching-up' on shows, i'm starting to clear out my much overdued pictures on this blog (as well as trying to find a job - stop procrastinating Jane).

I mean, life's hard.

& its harder when you don't really know what you wanna do. But yeah, so last month i celebrated monthsary (yeah we do that every now and then) with SJ & head over to Adventure cove. No pictures whilst inside because i didn't want to risk my phone getting wet, but we took some pictures after we bathed.

We also went over to the Korean Town over at Sentosa because it was all over the news some time ago but i didn't managed to find time to check it out.

Turns out to be a total mood-killer.
DO NOT GO, I REPEAT
DO NOT GO.

^ This cost me around $4 - 6 if im not wrong

^ Apparently a 'korean sausage' which cost me $3.50 but guess what, there's nothing special about this at all

There's really nothing special about the food there - in fact it tastes exactly similar to how processed food would taste like. I didn't check out the main meals, but these snacks were horrible enough to make me U-turn the next time someone suggest that place.

So yeah, head somewhere else if you really wanna get a grab inside Sentosa.

Founder's Bak Kut Teh

I also managed to finally visit Founder's Bak Kut Teh and tried their food.
Love it, but love the one over at Clarke Quay better.

Nevertheless, i was sold by the numerous pictures of celebrities plastered around the restaurant

Pong Gelato

Also tried this over at *scape because i miss BKK loads. I think it costs around $4.50 (if i didn't remembered wrongly) and its located inside the mall of *scape. The ice cream is good, and serves as a good dessert after meal to be shared with your partner or friends.

5 the Moments (cafe)

It's a quaint cafe opened by some photographers over at Tanjong Pagar and we went there for their ice cream and tea after our dinner (Supalae - my fave korean restaurant)

Love the decorations there and they have some really pretty lights/couch for you to take pictures and just laze the day away with your lappy or a book.

That's me and Joey after our very 'intense' studying session over at 313 Somerset.

Always fun to hang out with these guys :)

Ramen Keisuke Tori King (Tanjong Pagar)

If you are looking for some real good ramen,
PLEASE TRY THIS AT LEAST ONCE IN YOUR LIFE

Its super good and SJ and i are a huge fan of their ramen and egg - its super good!
I think i'm super in love with this store because of the hardness of their ramen (which you can customize to your liking) and i like my noodles hard. Not soft soft like jelly lol.

LOVE IT.

Don't know what they used to make their beansprout. Damn friggin nice! LOL
SJ and me would always finish a bottle of it because its just that good.

Alrighty, thats all for today and i hope i gave you some ideas on where to head to (and not) over the weekends now that school's out for most of you! :)

Have a lovely day and love ya <3

Dinz with friends + Cosfest 2014 - Prequel

Impromptu dinner with the girls the other day over at Marche! I KNOW I SAID I WONT BE GOING BACK BUT OHWELLS.

So whilst waiting for Junli to reach,, Xinni and i were taking selfie and this guy behind us was damn fucking weird. WTF he die die wanna be inside the picture?! We were taking pictures and he was there but cannot see his face la. We took this picture (second shot) and he actually MOVED HIS SEAT TO BE IN THE PICTURE.

Damn weird pls, like wtf you wanna be in the picture so much anot =.= LOL, so we decided not to take picture anymore because he kept trying to be in the picture (like the third and fourth and so on...)

Went to the smoothie king and we took a super long time to decide and we obstructed the entire queue hahahah wtf. But it was a good and quick catchup session //updates and rants.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE ALREADY

These two week is really busy, but

Cosfest 2014 ended on a beautiful note and i managed to meet many friends whom i have not seen over the past one year during the event! Definitely one of the few best ones i have attended over the years - i have had so much fun guys <3

This year, Maggie came over from HK to attend cosfest again. This is her second time coming over to attend the event, and i'm really happy to have her here again! :D

Went to the airport to fetch her and head over to Gmaine's house because we were checking into the chalet to put Maggie's luggage (someone bought 5 costumes from her lol, heavy die her). Camwhoring with my beautiful selfie camera again HEHEHEH

Brought Maggie to Sentosa because she was having a photoshoot afterwards and she wanted to visit the place! HAHA, alighted the tram and got approached by a man.

Decided to take picture with the snake even though i know its fucking tourist of me to do so and im a singaporean (but he thought i was taiwanese leh hahaha wtf) and its $5 but

SNAKE LEH, OMG MY FAVE ANIMAL PLS.

Just take only lah walau

I expected the snake to be really slimy but it was really dry!! Like the skin and all, plus he seems pretty tired to be taking pictures with everyone. Feel so sad for him/her :(

Gosh snake <3 I love snakes so much <33333

Decided to walk around the beach and look see look see because Maggie felt intrigued and wanted to take pictures around the place! Its really cool and all like, you know, being touristy in your own country. Maybe Sijun and me should act yi ge foreigners and explore singapore HAHAH

Went to photoshoot afterwards and we parted ways there because i headed home and Maggie went to the chalet to stayover! Gonna be posting about cosfest in a day or two cuz school started and im really busy this week. See all of chuuu <3

Sentosa trip and a note to you

Release of results the other day and i'm glad the ordeal is over! Handling the fact of knowing the result of all those mugging/studying/nightmare of all those friggin charts chasing after you even when y'all sleeping and even just seeing your friends having completed their exam and you still have two more papers to go.
Its so unsettling but its finally over.
So glad.

SO! SJ and I went to Sentosa (after a really long procrastination) and i was praying to god that it wouldn't rain cause i have a really bad affinity with Sentosa. It always friggin rain when i go there.

We went to Mambo Bar because its just too hot to sit under the sun and swim leisurely in the sea. They have songs as well so just soaking in the water and listening to the songs played is pretty good too actually!

My new bikini from taobao hahah. I didn't dare to wear the bottom part because i think i'm still too fat for it 8'D Slowly and slowly i will conquer you, bikini-san!

Swam to the opposite side and SJ used my phone to take pictures of me lol lol. He too bored already hahaha.

Been some time since i last had his home-cooked spaghetti so i asked if its ok for him to cook me some last saturday! Haha, according to him, he went to the wet market at 10am and personally picked up these prawns for me (i have a feeling it was his mum though hahaha) and cooked for me. But its goodddddd. I love his aglio olio super much. Lots of olive oil and prawns - just the way i like it!

Had to take a camwhore of the new bikini top since i bought it and its new!!
This is its debut ok :Db & i thought the shorts suited it HAHAHA, #OOTD pls.

Bathed and walked around the island for a while and enjoying the sunset along the sea. Its a beautiful world we are living in now and its good to breathe and bask in the sun (not too much, just rays) and enjoy the scenery. But i am still not a fan of the sun and i don't understand people who are obsessed with tans - i mean yeah i get what they are trying to achieve and have the healthy glow. But yes, I'm not some princess who can't take the sun alright, i just don't like it.

Did these temporary spray-on glitter tattoos over at my aunt's house the other days while playing with my cousin. I really liked what the sun and moon element represents - there's just something very mystical and intriguing about their existence. I have thoughts of getting a tattoo of the Gibbous to represent my birth when i was having an unhealthy obsession with this creature. But its a long term commitment and i'm just not sure if it holds a strong enough meaning to be imprinted on my body forever.

On a more personal note, there are two things here.

Firstly, i am really glad for the support that SJ had gave me when i was having my examination period. I know that it sucks when we have to sacrifice your 5 days break for studies and sitting over at Starbucks for 4 hours straight doing nothing and watching me struggle with memorizing charts and facts into my tiny brain. But thank you. I was really scared when i opened my result slip that day, and its not the best but i'm glad that its not something that bad that would throw me off my chair and make me feel that all the efforts were for nothing. I'm just really glad that the first semester is over.

The second issue may be on a more personal level. I think yesterday was really a offensive move on your part. If you are friends with me on my personal account, you would know that SJ's ex girlfriend went into his account to restrict both my personal and cosplay accounts. It's not blocking, it's merely restricting what i can see on his timeline and profile, which equates to only being able to see his name, and profile picture only.

I don't know what you are trying to achieve with this because we all know who did this. I don't know what made you do this and why you want to do this. But i love this man and i want to be with him. I have grown to love him over the course of this entire relationship even though i was never serious about the entire thing at the very beginning because i was never looking for love, i was merely looking for company.

Regardless, it was low of you to do that. Maybe you did it because of your grudge towards me and you want to "revenge" and "seek justice" with your action.

But do stop at this, because its making me really tired.

If you want answers, ask me.
