AFA 2014 - Pictures!

I would probably be on the flight to Bangkok when this post is published, but hey! I didn't want this space to be too cluttered with sponsored products so here i am with some pictures which i managed to take with a photographer friend, Geno, amidst the crazy crowd.

I don't think i managed to capture her moe nature and i look too smiley for her.
& my size ... i look like i'm a 29 years old Izuna instead of a 9 years old Izuna LOL

But nevertheless, i had lots of fun with everyone! :) NGNL is one of my favorite series because i'm intrigued by the wit displayed in the entire show by Sora and Shiro.

Would most probably be cosing as Jbril instead for the photoshoot with my team members so yay to that! (& hopefully able to not cosfaile her LOL)

I'm still looking through the pictures but i guessed thats all i would post for now .. 'cause i'm super lazy to post more LOL.

I took up a part time job (giving out flyers) and did that from Mon-Fri the whole of last week. It was terrible because the place was at Chevron's House and the people there aren't really that into flyers i guess. So most of the time i spend my time praying that people would kindly take up the offer of accepting the flyers i pushed right into their face and trying to distinguish between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air with a blank look.

Moreover, the company i'm working for is pretty meh so it made things a bit tad badder.

School's starting soon and it's going to be my last semester =0=

But before all that,

I can't wait for Christmas! :)

AFA'14

Went to AFA'14 the other day because i was supposed to be cosplaying with Violet's team for the series No Game No Life. It's one of the first few animes which i actually all episodes of it, albeit it only having 12 episodes.

Nevertheless, really glad to be part of this team because everyone was very much on the same page and in sync with one another in terms of commitment level and whats not :) 

Cosplayed as Izuna from NGNL and i have to say that i definitely look too happy/moe for her. I smile too much in contrast to the original character because she has a rather stoned look, and that expression would really make me look like a retard instead of moe. I tried to convey her happy temperament after the competition but i might have over-did it a little.

But it was fun to cosplayed as her and be a moe 9 years old girl for a day LOL!

Met up with some old friends as well - the thing about event is that we get to meet people whom we had not seen for a long time or due to a clash of schedule. 

Really happy to see some old friends again, but i didnt managed to find many old faces but was instead bombarded with lots of new faces. I guess the influx of consplayers in SG is indeed true these years. 

Had dinz at Crystal Jade with SJ, Violet and Imax! Super full but <3 It was something like a ,, double date i guess? Since we were a double pair haha! My eyes look like a case of plastic surgery done badly,, as commented by my mum when i reached home LOL

I can't believe i walked around looking like this for a good 2 hours around Suntec and Marina 8D

Day 2! Went into the event halls but there were nothing much to be honest. Loved the niconico stage though even though i am not a fan. Their singing is <3 

Kinda went to the event for Emily because she was cosing on day 2, and she look so pretteh <3

AFA'14 was a wonderful experience even though i had very little interactions with old friends because i cant find them at all .. did not managed to see the people whom i wish to speak to as well because i cant find/see them. LOL

But cosing NGNL reminded me the reason why i started on this hobby, and here i am now, back to reading manga and watching anime again :3

I'm sorry if i bored some of you readers out there who aren't that into anime, manga and cosplay but you know, perhaps just a peep into a cosplayer's life and know that we are all still sane people who eat, sleep and shit just like any one out there. 

AFA 2013

My second event of the year after i had returned from Beijing! I really like AFA, and its location. AFA is one of the events that kinda, in a way, made me know more friends and just broaden my social circle each time i attend it. There is nothing less than happiness and surprises each time this event arrives.

I was supposed to cos Zone-00 with Nisa & Rei on day 1, but something cropped up so it was cancelled. I went as a civilian in the end and met up with many people, both new and old, as well as online friends whom i have not met in real life. Really happy to catch up and take pictures and exchange coscards! :D

Day 02 - Saturday

I made everything into a collage because there would be too many pictures to upload if i do them one by one ;A; Not gonna name everyone here because i am so lazy 8'D But really glad to have caught up with everyone! Yui appears in almost all of my pictures that little girl LOL!

Day 03 - Sunday

Day 3 was Athena with Emily! Emily introduced Saint Seiya to me a long time ago, but i only finished the entire series recently because i was procrastinating and alternating between many series. I would definitely recommend Lost Canvas to anyone who is into greek myth! 

Its not a shoujou manga, more of like a shounen manga. I absolutely adore Pandora and Hades. I was supposed to cos as Pandora but the costume didnt make it so i did Athena. It was a last minute kinda thing,, so yeah.

& then left to change out of cos and everything. Camwhore with Tsubaki and Rei in the toilet. This Rei take super long to change out, so gu niang lah.

& because i cant squeeze the pictures in anymore to the collage, a picture with Wei Jiat and Shine form Malaysia! :)

& lastly dinner with everyone! <3 /Flabby arms are flabby heh.

I have yet to receive any pictures from photographers on my day 2 cosplay so i would be with-holding those pictures for now! 

Mini Rant // I was really upset because someone just decided to whisk away a bag with my wig and Rei's hat even though we left it there and it was with our belongings. Like wtf.
